Grandview Nature Preserve, Hampton, Virginia
I'm not going to lie, this is my number one favorite beach in Hampton Roads. Virginia Beach is beautiful, but this little beach has waves that are perfectly sized for my little kiddos, the water is clear and there is wildlife all around! We come here as much as we can, and the best part is that it's usually empty. You feel like you're on your own private beach and the kids can run and play without worry. We ventured out last week to catch the last little bit of sun and summer. I've yet to do a family session here because of the half mile walk to get to the beach, but I think that is the wonder of it and keeps it so secret. Hoping to take our own family photos here this year...as long as the weather cooperates and we can keep chasing the sun!
